Most people go on holiday every year to enjoy different culture or just to relax their mind. More than 20% of UK population go on holiday each year but this is just an approximate value. Several people go on various types of holidays, vacations or cruises. Some like to go on luxury cruises vacations and some look for cheap holidays near Europe with their friends and family.

 

What would be your ideal holiday?

Many people from UK going to another European country for a heavy weekend away or for few days. What I mean by heavy weekend is that weekend full of alcohol, sun and dancing. That is all and nothing else. They like visiting places with good warm weather as in the UK we hardly have sunshine. We love going to places such as Ibiza, Barcelona, Athens, Istanbul and Mallorca. When you visit these places you will realize these places are full of British tourists. But some other people love going on a cruise to places such as Bahamas or other the Caribbean islands.

 

To be honest with you age factor comes in play when choosing the holidays. the research in 2009 shows that young people upto the age of 30 (singles) enjoy going to holidays where they can enjoy outdoor activities and night lifes. Whereas people with family like to go to different places where not only they can enjoy but so can their children: an example would be Paris or Florida for Disney land. Disney land is a place where adults and children all can enjoy themselves, as I have been there myself and also have a fabulous time with the family.

 

When you are young you have no responsiblities so you can go to any sort of holiday with your friends and have a great time drinking, dancing or doing something else. I am 42 now with three children so to be honest I would rather choose a holiday where I can get some relaxation time with peaceful environment but also a place where my children can have a stunning time but not Disney land again I don’t think I can handle the rides anymore. In the past we have been on MSC cruises and Windstar cruises in the past and have a fantastic experience.
